More Demolition over the
next couple Saturdays:
Kathy made short work with the drywall overhead in the two side aisles in the Sanctuary, making room for the new wiring and recessed lights. Karen and Leann pull out nails left over from tearing down the old drywall. We're glad that Todd brought the hardhats! Those side aisles had been so dark in the past - but not for long!!
MaryLou carrying out the debris that the detail crew was pulling down from the ceiling. Once all was cleared out, the electrician had access to run his conduit for the new recessed lighting.
Dave, MaryLou and Christopher spray, then scrap off the old ceiling effect so it'll be smooth for the new Narthex! What a mess!
Some of the Youth Group had time on a Saturday to help with the clean-up, clear-out before the construction could begin. Thanks Ali, Miki & Arthur!
Yea for the Yoots!!
Luke & Keith, and Leann fine tuning the clean up, pulling nails, etc. that would be in the way of the drywall installer.
